Your Days, Unhurried

Day 1 — Arrival in Zermatt

Settle into your chalet, meet your guide over coffee, and take an easy evening stroll through the car-free old village as the Matterhorn turns pink.

Day 2 — Matterhorn Sunrise

An early start to a quiet viewpoint for sunrise over the peak, then a gentle guided walk through larch forest back to the village.

Day 3 — Scenic Rail Day

Ride the mountain railway through high valleys, with photo stops at the most dramatic overlooks and lunch at a sunny terrace.

Day 4 — Alpine Meadows

A full day among wildflower meadows and mirror-still tarns, ending with a traditional fondue evening hosted by a local family.

Day 5 — Slow Morning & Farewell

One last unhurried breakfast with a view, free time for souvenirs, and midday farewells.

How fit do I need to be?

Moderately active is enough. Walks are 2–4 hours on well-kept paths with plenty of stops, and every day has an easier option.

What should I pack?

Layers, a windproof jacket, broken-in walking shoes and sun protection. A full packing list arrives with your booking confirmation.

Is this trip good for couples?
